Keboard is built on a simple principle: your data stays on your device. We collect nothing, transmit nothing, and store nothing on any server.

What We Collect

Keboard collects no data of any kind.

We never collect:

• Usage analytics or events
• Crash reports or error logs
• Device information or system version
• Your key assignments or app preferences
• Any information that identifies you personally

Local Storage Only

All Keboard settings — including your key assignments, hotkey configuration, and appearance preferences — are stored locally on your Mac using macOS's secure UserDefaults system. This data never leaves your device.

Permissions

Keboard requires the following system permissions to function:

• Accessibility Access: Required to detect global hotkeys and manage app window focus system-wide.

These permissions are used solely to provide the app's core functionality. No data accessed through these permissions is collected, stored, or transmitted.

Third-Party Services

Keboard does not use any third-party analytics, crash reporting, or tracking services. No SDKs that collect data are included in the app.
